We serve immediate family members or support persons of hospitalized patients. Patients are also welcome at Sarah House when they can care for themselves or have a caregiver with them.

Guests are referred by the hospital social worker, chaplain, member of the patient relation staff or a member of pastoral care. Patients are welcome on a case-by-case basis.

Sarah House recently received a grant from the Saint Agatha Foundation to support breast cancer patients and their caregivers, so that they may be able to "afford their disease". The grant provides sponsored lodging, transportation and meals provided by Sarah House. For more information please call us or speak with the patient relations staff at the hospital.

To continue the ongoing work of Sarah House, there is a lodging fee of $20 per guest per day ($35 per double occupancy). An ability to pay policy is in effect at Sarah House and may be discussed with the staff. You may pay when you arrive at the House or via Paypal below (for confirmed reservations only).
